NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a ServiceNow HRSD Developer for a newly awarded DHS Program in Springfield, VA.  This role requires US Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance, or DHS EOD Clearance.  This is a REMOTE role, with very occasional onsite required for deployments.


Task Description:

As a ServiceNow HRSD developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting changes in ServiceNow HRSD. Working closely with customers, business analysts and process consultants, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies. In this role, you will collaborate with team members across teams within an agile framework and you must communicate clearly and effectively with other team members and customer stakeholders.

 

Primary Job Duties:

· Development and configuration of ServiceNow HRSD – 50%

· Technical design and solutioning – 20%

· Troubleshooting – 20%

· Guiding junior resources – 10%

Required skills/Level of Experience:

Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Minimum 5 years’ experience + bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Associate degree +2 years’ experience; 6 years’ experience; or relevant professional certification); Successful completion of higher education which has not resulted in a degree may be counted as one year of experience.

· Experience with ServiceNow HRSD, 3+ years; or experience with any module in ServiceNow, 5+ years.

· ServiceNow Certified HR Implementation Specialist.

· Experience working in agile teams, including responsibility for pointing user stories, 3+ years.

· Experience with technical solution design, including building technical documentation, 5+ years.

· Experience leading technical or development teams, 2+ years.

 

Preferred skills:

· Agile certification, preferably with SAFe.

· Experience with ServiceNow platform administration, 2+ years.

· Experience with building ServiceNow integrations (SOAP/REST), 2+ years.

· Experience with enterprise design thinking, 2+ years.
