PHYSICAL TECHNICAL SECURITY OFFICER (TS/SCI with CI Poly Required)

One of our premier clients is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Physical Technical Security Officer full-time and on-site in their Fairfax headquarters. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all physical and technical security aspects within the companies facilities to ensure compliance with Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines and directives while assisting the Security Team with special projects support.

Job Description:
•  Ensure that facilities are constructed to meet security requirements in accordance with customer ICD 705 and TEMPEST guidelines.
•  Interpret and apply technical and administrative requirements to ensure evolving customer security requirements are met from concept design to completion in compliance with DoD and IC 
directives, orders, and policies for new builds and modifications to existing spaces.
•  Create and maintain partnerships with Zeta customers, government agencies, internal / external organizations, contractors, employees, and managers involving facility and security operations. 
This includes working with company’s internal operations/facilities team on all new builds and existing spaces.
•  Perform as the Construction Security Manager (CSM) and review required documentation to ensure quality, completeness and compliance with ICD 705 and/or other applicable regulations (i.e. Construction Security Plans (CSP), Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC), TEMPEST checklists) and additional documentation as required.
•  Monitor status of facility construction, equipment installation, accreditation documentation, scheduling, approvals & conflicts.
•  Review architectural drawings to ensure security compliance and ensure they accurately reflect the as-built facility parameters.
•  Organize and coordinate review visits, testing and Physical Technical Certification Officer (PTCO) and Accrediting Official (AO) reviews.
•  Assist with periodic self-inspections and formal customer inspections to ensure physical security compliance and standards are met.
•  Keep current records of existing accreditations and co-use/joint-uses, and track 
expirations.
•  Assist in the development and implementation of security plans, standard operating procedures and program protection plans for compliance with policies and regulations from Accrediting Office (AO) and government agencies.
•  Manage operations and maintenance of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems.
•  Manage After-Hours on-site Guard Services.
•  Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications:
•  Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or related field or equivalent combination of education 
and/or training in a security discipline(s) and related security experience.
•  Experience managing the physical security of SCIFs and secure workspaces.
•  Experience relating to the accreditation of customer SCIFs and collateral facilities.
•  Experience providing construction recommendations for new construction and facility modifications to facilitate accreditation.
•  Possess working knowledge of physical security governing guidelines such as ICD-705 and Tech Specs, NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 and 2001.53 (Open Storage Area), and TEMPEST guidelines.
•  Understanding of classification guidelines and program protection plans.
•  Experience managing multiple projects/tasks and large workloads.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•  Strong administrative and organization skills.
•  Proficient with MS Office and Visio.
•  Experience updating and maintaining records in customer applications and databases.
•  Ability to carry and lift ladders and equipment up to 50 pounds while evaluating SCIFs.

Other Requirements:
•  Active TS/SCI with favorable Polygraph required.
•  U.S. citizenship required.
•  6+ years of physical security experience supporting the IC and/or DoD.

•  Must be reliable, dependable and trustworthy.
•  Must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple tasks and work well under deadlines, frequently with quick turnaround.
•  Must be able to prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, to include: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Visio.
