ORACLE DBA (Must have Active Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility)

One of our premier clients located in Fairfax, Virginia has an full-time opening for an Oracle DBA to join their expanding team in support of their many high-profile government clients.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly

Required Skills:
  • Oracle 19c RAC, Clusterware, and standalone database installation, patching, and administration 
  • Oracle 19c ASM installation, configuration, and general storage installation and administration 
  • Oracle 19c RMAN backup and recovery
  • Oracle Data Guard configuration, administration, and high availability concepts Oracle 13c Cloud 
  • Control installation, configuration, and administration
  • Linux shell scripting, configuration, and administration for Oracle databases
  • Required Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Engineering discipline Security+
Desired Education/Certifications:
Advanced degree in Computer or Engineering discipline Oracle Certified Professional

Desired Oracle Skills:
  • Oracle GoldenGate Replication configuration and administration Oracle Spatial and Advanced Security 
  • experience
  • Oracle SQL Developer experience Oracle Data Appliance experience
  • Desired Cloud Computing Skills
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts including pods, services, and persistent storage Experience with 
  • the full life-cycle of containers in Kubernetes
  • Experience with Kubernetes operators for Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch 
  • Experience with Linux shell scripting for container run-time automation
  • Familiarity with AWS database services
Desired AI Skills:
  • Understands open-source LLMs including strengths, limitations, and best use for databases 
  • Understands and enforces AI security including least privilege, human approval, and audit trails 
  • Experience vibe coding and validating AI generated scripts, automation, and agents
  • Experience creating agents in harnesses with tools, memory, and guardrails for safe database access 
  • Experience creating monitoring agents to track performance, capacity, security, and query health
