Unified Communications Services Engineer – Video
NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Video Engineer with proven depth creating solutions with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Vbrick, WebEx, Microsoft 365 Teams and related technologies.  The selected candidate will design, build and deploy, and administer large scale video networks.  The engineer will provide support to multiple globally dispersed WAN connected sites. Engineers will be responsible for supporting their solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, and providing O&M support. Project assignments will vary based on skill level, and may include engineering geographically dispersed services, integrating services into public, private and hybrid cloud environments, and hardening the solutions to address security and SCAP compliance.  Must have current CI Polygraph.
  • Designs and defines system architecture for Cisco based video infrastructure and end-points, additional experience with M365 Teams is also desired
  • Provision endpoints, support call scheduling, end-point troubleshooting, in-room support with senior Government officials, and end-user training
  • Develop and document video SOPs for engineers and Knowledge Base articles for end-users
  • Work with video providers from other Government agencies and commercial providers to ensure seamless call performance
  • Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients
Required Skills:
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Call Manager / Cisco Meeting Server
  • Experience with Cisco Meeting Manager
  • Experience with Cisco Vbrick
  • Experience with Cisco Jabber
  • Experience with Cisco Telepresence Management Suite and Cisco Expressways is desired
  • Experience with the configuration of video end-point hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft M365 and Microsoft Teams is desired
  • Experience with PBX is desired
  • Experience building/managing servers in the AWS (Amazon Web Services) environment is desired
  • Experience with managing work tasks via tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow
  • System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs
  • CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
