NorthHill Technology Resources has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Solutions Architect with our client, an award-winning Federal Integrator in Sterling, VA.


Key Result Areas and Activities:
Support REI's Customer-focused Growth (Capture/Proposals)
  • Develop and enhance expert knowledge of client business systems
  • Support lead identification and qualification within REI account
  • Develop competitive solutions as part of approved capture and proof of concept efforts
  • Support REI's Account Architect in building a roadmap and supporting pursuit of identified opportunities
  • Support account-focused proposal solutions (contributing, writing, reviewing)
Promote REI's Brand in the Industry for Trusted Advice (Marketing, Thought Leadership)
  • Work with Account Architect and marketing to provide thought leadership
  • Lead responses to market research activities such as RFIs
  • Be a recognized thought leader in industry
  • Influence customers, employees, and partners through compelling communications
  • Represent REI's complete suite of capabilities in the market
Support Business Strategy for the Organization (Innovation, Priorities)
  • Develop proof-of-concept solutions for new or proposed capabilities
  • Contribute to REI's growth strategy
  • Strengthen vendor and strategic partnerships
Work and Technical Experience:
  • Experience working with the General Services Administration (GSA), supporting modernization initiatives
  • Technical delivery experience in software development or analytic platform teams
  • Leadership experience in software development or analytic teams
  • Experience in end-to-end solution development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Expertise in either business applications, content management or analytics
  • Expertise in modern technologies including cloud, microservices, event-driven architecture, and databases
  • Experience with modern delivery frameworks, such as Agile, SAFe and DevSecOps
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience; two years may be substituted for a master's degree
  • Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes
  • Able to meet deadlines for the team
  • Able to write and present persuasively
  • Able to communicate with different stakeholders (both technical and business)
  • Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team
  • Able to iterate based on new information, peer reviews, and feedback
