HPC LINUX ENGINEER (TS CLEARANCE)

This position supports the Geospatial Services & Solutions business area to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the customer. As part of the GSS Team the HPC Linux Engineer's expertise is needed to support a sophisticated enterprise environment. The Engineer is an active participant in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Work with others across our team supporting HPC and clustered computing services to analysts and stakeholders who process large data sets and / or develop code as part of their projects.
  2. Perform pend user support for users of HPC and clustered compute services.
  3. Deploy, manage and implement automated tooling and monitoring solutions to minimize day-to-day maintenance and automate job queuing.
  4. Present information using data visualization techniques, and other reporting mechanisms.
  5. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

Required Skills:
  1. 2+ years of relevant work experience and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  2. 3+ years of experience in a Linux environment
  3. Experience using configuration management and automation tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansbile, Salt, or Puppet
  4. Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash
  5. Experience building containers and with Docker, Singularity, or other application containerization technologies.
  6. Experience performing troubleshooting and system administration with Linux servers.
  7. Experience with workload managers, and GPU computing
  8. Understanding of data storage devices and technologies (e.g., Pure, VAST, NetApp)
  9. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  11. Must possess excellent time management skills and the drive to work unsupervised.
  12. Experience with deploying to on prem/data center infrastructure.
  13. Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly

Desired Skills:
  1. Prior experience working with or within the Intelligence Community or a military intelligence unit
  2. ​​​​​​​Understanding of access management and security groups (i.e. IAM, S3 bucket, SSH, VPN, etc.)
