Microsoft Power Platform Project Manager (Hybrid/Tysons)

NorthHill Technology Resources has an immediate need for a Microsoft Power Platform Project Manager to support a newly awarded Federal Program in Tyson's Corner, VA.  This is a hybrid role, with 1 day onsite in Tysons.  It is direct-hire with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator with a fantastic culture.  Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance is required.
 

Microsoft Power Platform Project Manager

As a Microsoft Power Platform Project Manager, you can expect to:

· Be responsible for leading and managing Power Platform projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and according to client specifications.

· Manage and perform the following tasks throughout the project course for the Microsoft Power Platform:

· Scope and Change Management

· Resource, Time, and Cost Management

· Communication

· Risk and Issue Management

· Project Tracking and Control

· Participate in Discovery Sessions which are used to gather requirements from project stakeholders.

· Lead or assist in steering committee meetings and facilitate communication with all parties involved.

· Support and manage project scope, resources, project schedules, project risks/issues, and expectations.

· Ensure customer satisfaction.

· Work closely with clients and project team to understand business requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

· Ensure adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.

· Identify opportunities to enhance processes, methodologies, and tools related to Power Platform implementation and support.

· Contribute to the development and refinement of Project Management best practices including the creation of reusable assets, internal knowledge repositories, and team resources.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 7+ years managing or working within Microsoft CE or Power Platform projects.

· PMP and Scrum Master Certifications required.

· 4+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in a consulting or Professional Services setting

· Experienced supporting federal government contracts.

· Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

· Experience with different SDLC project methodologies (such as agile and waterfall)

· Demonstrated ability to successfully manage project teams.

· Strong understanding of business processes/business process analysis

· Scrum certification is highly desirable.

· Proficiency in MS Project

· Experience in integrating Power Platform with other systems using connectors, APIs, or custom development.

· A passion for Microsoft cloud technologies including Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365

· Strong client-facing skills, empathy, and ability to guide clients through challenging problems.
