Storage Engineer
- Support of enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, 3Par, Primera, EMC, Veritas, Cohesity etc.)
- Configuration of NAS and SAN storage protocols to include NFS, CIFS and Fiber Channel
- Administration of storage arrays to include initial software configurations, SAN zoning and IP based storage configurations
- Configuration and administration of data replication technologies such as NetApp SnapMirror
- Management of storage array cluster switches
- Performing routine storage array firmware & OS code updates.
- Configuring storage platforms to include configuring clustering, HA, building aggregates, LUNs, volumes, shares and managing storage quotas.
- Design and engineering of cloud-based storage platforms such as NetApp Cloud Volumes OnTap, AWS S3 and Azure Storage Accounts
- Implementation of encryption technologies and integration with storage platforms.
- Monitoring storage system and configurations in order to ensure system health and functionality as well as remediate issues in a timely manner
