We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Presales Engineer to join our team. As a Presales Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our customer success, playing a pivotal role in demonstrating our software and showcasing how it enables prospects' decision management processes. This position primarily focuses on the pre-sales stage, shaping the customer journey and ensuring a seamless transition to post-sales support.
Location: This position is hybrid in McLean, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with prospects to understand their decision management processes and challenges.
- Utilize your expertise as a Presales Engineer to effectively demonstrate our software's capabilities in enabling efficient decision-making.
- Leverage your proficiency in tools like Qlik, Tableau, and PowerBI to showcase how our platform empowers data-driven insights and visualization.
- Analyze the prospects' existing decision management practices, identify pain points, and propose tailored solutions using our software.
- Configure and present compelling proofs of concept that align with the prospects' specific requirements and goals.
- Continuously adapt and enhance the demonstrations to address additional prospect needs and showcase the scalability of our software.
- Collaborate with the CORAS engineering team to provide valuable insights and contribute to the development of new features that support prospects' decision management processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating the long-term value and return on investment of our software for prospect organizations.

- Ability to develop and maintain database pipelines, leveraging coding skills to process, analyze, and visualize complex datasets through custom scripting and charting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Presales Engineer, specializing in creating and executing demonstrations of software solutions to prospects.
- Proven expertise in showcasing data-driven insights and visualization using tools like Qlik, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Previous experience tailoring demo environments to a prospect’s desired use case.
- Knowledge of analyzing and improving decision management practices.
- Proficiency in querying and manipulating organizational data: spreadsheets, pivot tables, SQL (or other DB), legacy enterprise sources, cloud repositories, etc.
- Experience with data scraping, tagging, NoSQL, taxonomies, OSINT, and publicly available sources is highly advantageous
