JUNIOR SYSTEM ANALYST/ADMINISTRATOR

SYSTEMS ANALYST AND ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Remote
Status: Full-time
POSITION SUMMARY
You have a major impact on our ability to simplify and scale our dynamic and complex operations. You are responsible for building a SaaS-based infrastructure integrated with Salesforce to effectively and efficiently enable the organization, the staff, and volunteers across the nation to achieve their goals. You analyze business processes, identify system requirements, identify vendor partners, design the workflow architecture, and keep it operational. You work closely with all departments, collaborating with directors to implement new solutions on schedule. You train or arrange for training of staff on the use of each platform. On a day-to-day basis you administer each platform and/or liaise with the vendor(s), create documentation, policy and procedures, and support staff and volunteers in their use.

You work with the goals of
1) improving/creating systems that facilitate the flow of data and the accessibility of real-time, actionable information to all departments and stakeholders
2) enabling automation and scalability
3) simplifying the user experience.

The position is full-time, 40-hours per week, with flexible hours and occasional nights and weekends.  

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand the goals, information needs and processes of all departments in order to optimize business processes and improve user experiences through the use of web-based applications 
  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to design solutions for project requirements, update team about the progress of projects, keep the project on schedule, and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Solve mission critical issues by researching and vetting new tools and applications, including understanding the issue, determining “must haves” versus “nice to have” features, identifying solutions and/or vendors, conducting initial discussions, and scheduling demos with key stakeholders
  • Integrate solutions into the Salesforce platform through the management of our Salesforce Managed Services Provider and new vendors
  • Create and maintain documentation and training resources including tracking of customizations to the platforms, integrations with other systems and platforms, process documentation, and training documentation for end users
  • Ensure end-users receive trainings on the platforms that enable them to easily to do their jobs
  • Create and enforce policies for effective data and information management to keep data safe from security breaches, unauthorized access, data losses, platform failures, and integrated system failures
  • Keep all platforms up-to-date with new releases, system updates, and patches to ensure continuous, error-free operation
  • Create techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, legitimacy, and usability of data
  • Support users in the daily use of platforms and applications
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
  • Experience working with CRMs, experience w/Salesforce is preferred and integrations with other platforms
  • Experience as a Google Workspace administrator
  • Experience as a business and/or systems analyst
  • 2+ years’ experience in Information Technology, Services, or equivalent line of business experience
  • 1+ years’ experience with project management
