NorthHill Technology Resources has an immediate need for a Microsoft Power Platform Architect to support a newly awarded Federal Program in Tyson's Corner, VA.  This is a hybrid role, with 1 day onsite in Tysons.  It is direct-hire with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator with a fantastic culture.  Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance is required.

Job Description

· Deep Expertise in Power Platform: Proficient in architecting solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.

· Advanced Power Platform multiple-environment architecture, solution deployment, and code management using Azure DevOps and code repositories (e.g., GitHub)

· Advanced Solution Design and Architecture: Ability to design complex Power Platform solutions that integrate with external systems and data sources.

· Data Architecture and Management: Expert knowledge in data modeling, management, and governance within Microsoft Dataverse

· Integration and Automation Expertise: Proficient in integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft services and third-party systems using APIs and connectors.

· Knowledge of Azure Landscape: Strong understanding of the Azure ecosystem and its integration points with Power Platform.

· Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor development teams.

· Establishing Power Platform Practice: Experience in setting up a Power Platform practice for customers, including establishing guardrails and best practices

 

Experience

· 6+ years working with Power Platform services including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

· 6+ years as a Developer or working with Microsoft solutions.

· Development and deployment of multiple Power Platform projects to external organizations including Canvas Applications, Model Driven Applications and Power Automate solutions.

· Delivering projects that use Dataverse.

· Understanding the various data connectors and their licensing model(s)

· Implementing Power Platform governance and security concepts

· Experience with Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus and understanding the role in potential automation solutions including the utilization of hybrid platform like AWS.

· Experience developing Azure Functions/APIs to create custom Power Automate actions.

· Experience designing and developing REST APIs and integrations. You will have experience with one or more of the following languages: PowerShell, SQL, Python, JavaScript, C#

· Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Power Platform solutions, including integration with SaaS platforms systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Workday

· Azure API Management implementation for securing and processing inbound and outbound policies for Power Automate flows and/or Azure Logic Apps
