NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Senior Business Intelligence Architect to support a critical Federal Program as a remote resource located in the DMV area. This is a Full-Time role with our client, a highly-respected Federal Integrator. Must a U.S. Citizen be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
The primary responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Solutions Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive business intelligence solutions. Develop data modes, data integration processes, and data visualization strategies.
Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights. Identify trends, patterns, and outliers to support data-driven decision-making processes.
Data Integration: Design and implement data integration processes from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.) to create a unified view of the agency’s data.
Dashboard Development: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI) to convey insights and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security. Collaborate with data owners to maintain high data quality standards.
Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team. Share best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance system.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all BI solutions and processes. Track status for all program deliverables, ensuring ownership and accountability for each. Develop accurate weekly and monthly status reports including team activities, risks, issues, progress toward milestones, and decisions.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or IT related field.
7 years of experience in a BI Lead Developer role utilizing MicroStrategy.
